Amazon Bulk Lister is completely free for everyone!
Documentation:
Amazon Bulk Lister is a tool that allows users to quickly create large number of listings on Amazon in bulk.
It can be found via the following link - lister.linnlive.com
In order to use it, you need to register a Linnworks account first — acc.linnworks.com. The registration is completely free of charge and should not take longer than a minute.
There are three stages required in order to add an Amazon account in Bulk Lister:
 - Choose Amazon site and merchant name;
 - Integrate via AWS (AccessKey, SecretAccessKey) keys;
 - Integrate via MWS (MerchantId, MarketplaceId) keys.
At each step, Amazon Bulk Lister tool provides detailed instructions. Please follow them carefully.
If you want to add or delete accounts, don’t forget to confirm changes by clicking “Save” button.
a. Via CSV file:
Delimiter/Separator – comma.
You can only download up to 300 listings in one go to prevent Bulk Lister from slowness and freezing.
World known editors, such as Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice Calc can distort numbers in your files, therefore it is recommended to set cell format as “text” for fields like Barcode, SKU, ParentSKU, etc.
First 9 attributes in the first column are mandatory and they should all be in the following order – SKU, Title, Barcode, Price, Quantity, ParentSKU, MainImage, AlternativeImage1, AlternativeImage2. If columns for these attributes in your CSV file are different, or if they are not in the order provided above Bulk Lister will not accept such CSV file.
ParentSku attribute does not need to be filled in if a product is a parent product.
Amazon Bulk Lister will try to automatically match all other information from your CSV file against attributes available when creating a product.
The list of other attributes will be presented later on, as those attributes are not mandatory.
Amazon Bulk Lister has plenty of sample examples which you are more than welcome to download when testing it and its capabilities.
b. Alternatively, you can get all not listed Amazon products directly from LinnLive via the following option – “Find not listed products: (only available for Linnworks Anywhere subscribers)
Find not listed products - this option helps you to find listings in your LinnLive account based on specified keyword (SKU and Item Title). This option also breaks your listings on pages (300 listings per page)
Select - this button adds found products on a given page from LinnLive into Amazon Bulk Lister.
A product will be added to your LinnLive account only when a report is returned, confirming the fact the a product is created and when a status is changed to Listed successfully Listed successfully.(only available for Linnworks Anywhere subscribers)
After your products are downloaded, next thing you need to do is to check them against Amazon relevance. This can be achieved via “Process” button (“Process All” button will check all of your products).
There are three methods you can use to create products:
a. Create - a category and attributes need to be specified separately
The screen is divided into two areas. In the right area there are attributes which are used when creating a product, where as in the left area of the screen there are attributes which are not chosen.
You can move attributes easily from left area to right simply by dragging them to the desired area.
There are three types of attributes: mandatory (red), recommended (yellow) and unnecessary attributes (white).
Amazon Bulk Lister will not allow you to create a product with mandatory fields not being filled in first.
In the top area of the screen there is a search function available for not chosen attributes. You can hover your mouse over a designated attribute to read a hint about it.
b. View – this function allows you to search related/matched products via barcode. Once found a desired product, Amazon Bulk Lister will prompt you with an option to create a product with exactly the same attributes (pre-filled).
All you need to do when using this method is to specify condition of a product, condition note and price.
c. Search – use this function to search by keywords, barcode or by ASIN. Once found a desired product, Bulk Lister will prompt you with an option to list a product immediately (pre-filled).
When searching a product you can use several conditions by clicking on “Add search term” button.
Once a product is found, you only need to specify condition of a product and a price.
Amazon has its own limitations on number of requests allowed, therefore creation of products along with reports happens partially (once per minute).
Sometimes it takes up to 20-30 minutes for a report to be generated, however normally it should not take longer than 5 minutes. It entirely depends on how busy Amazon servers are.
If the status shows as “Listed successfully” – then your product has been created as is not listed on Amazon web-site. You can also refer to reports to check what attributes were used.
A product will not be added to LinnLive until the following message is shown – Listed Successfully (for Linnworks Anywhere subscribers only).
If the returned status shows as “Error!”, then, as the name suggests, there was an error which stopped Bulk Lister from listing your product. Refer to a report to see what the problem is; there will also be a short guide on how to resolve it. Once rectified, you can try to create this product again.
There is an option to copy attributes from a given product
and then use them when creating a new product,
which in all eliminates the need to fill in the same attributes all over again.
Loaded from LinnLive/CSV - suggests that a product has just been uploaded from LinnLive or via CSV.
Waiting for listing. - means that a listing is submitted, Amazon has confirmed the creation of a product and Bulk Lister is now waiting to send another pack of data back to Amazon.
Listed. Waiting for report. - waiting for a report (as well as the information on whether a product is created or not).
Error! - there was an error when creating a product. Reports must be checked to see what the problem is.
Listed successfully. - a product has been successfully listed on Amazon.
Bulk Lister keeps a record of last five CSV uploads (or downloads from LinnLive).
You can easily switch over them and even copy information about listings making the listing creation process easier and more time effective.
Bulk Lister also saves information about your products. If you see that “History” button is active next to any of your products, then it means you have already worked with the same SKU some time ago. By clicking on this button you can switch over between different but saved historical conditions for this product.
Why would you need this?
For example, let’s imagine you have received a new stock which needs to be pushed onto Amazon and the only difference between your current stock and new stock are colours.
In case like this, you can simply add SKU numbers of your old products into your CSV file and when you upload this CSV file back into Bulk Lister you will be able to strap listing information from old listings onto new listings. This is when “History” option can be very useful, simply to speed up the whole process.
When uploading CSV file for child products, you always need to fill in a ParentSKU field, which is a SKU of a parent item.
Amazon Bulk Lister will then automatically relate child items to parent item.
Creation of a variation item, as a process, is exactly the same as for any other products, but this time round there is an extra step which needs to be taken.
Child items take all attributes from its parent item apart from those which are required to be filled for variant items only.
